I just can't see a SCB holding up in truly rough water like a yellowfin would, i am talking really abusing it in rough water.

what happens when you hit a true 3 foot wave in the cat? all i've seen is video of them running light bay chop

The Yellowfin is a fine boat and would be better suited for rough water. My buddy runs a 36 Yellowfin with Trip 300's that is a beast. V hulls are better for heavy chop than an air-entrapment cat hull, but I can run 3 footers all day, I just have to slow down to keep the boat in the water... Now 2ft chop is another story, I can air it out.... If the person with me can handle it...

I took the burn boat out 20-25 miles offshore this weekend. I was on cruse speed 35-45 and never had any issues. The seas were small though... I've had my fast rig out there doing 70+ on a couple ice-cream days. However, It's not an offshore boat. Like I said before.... set up a date to fish on Big Lake and I'll bring the rig down there and fish with you....

65 was just a guess he was going way to fast on the river though, it was a blue sparkle color.

Don't get your panties in a wad, I'm not knocking your dream boat....
not my dream boat. that would be the yellowfin. how can young be a knock of when the boat is layed out completely different and the hull doesnt even look the same and the lines and cuts are not even close. its a completely diff boat. how can it look like a lake and bay when it has a tear drop bow and the lake and bay doesnt? young is a custom produced by hand one at a time. lake and bay are production made. you really dont know much about boats do you. you just go with what everyone else tells you.
