Default Mermentau s/p? Bridge

Guys
We tried from Johnson bayou to the Mermentau bridge managed 4 specks and 1 red we could keep in the boat...

What in the heck are we doing wrong????
I can catch what we did today off of the Boston canal!

Want help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Some days you catch fish on the beach.....some days are very tough.

What were the conditions? Wind, waves, water, seaweed??????

What baits did you try? Was there any bait in the water?

As far as what baits to use..... it depends on the above conditions.

If the conditions are fairly good...... I like opening night color soft plastic or maybe pearl and char. If the water is a little dirty...go to darker colors.

At daylight...... trout will usually hit topwater baits until the sun starts coming out.

Getting ready to give it a go again.

We had fresh shrimp and any color plastic they make . Just one of those days I suppose...

So for we are in 2nd place in the Croaker div. Hope it holds up! LOL
V-bay was a rough and wet one today!
