Default Fishing tomorrow ?

Well I "was" going to hit the river tomorrow, but I think we will stay in port instead... A good source told me that Houston River was out of its banks this morning so I would imagine all the rivers are pretty full by now...

Sunday perhaps ? Should have lots of x-tra chocolate by then , drains should be in high gear if its not still rising...

Thoughts ?

Fool ? How bout a play-by-play on the Westferk water levels ?

I was thinking the same thing, it got pretty this afternoon. I got the itch but had somewhere to be. Maybe tomorrow if I get a hole in the rain like today.

Well I went buddy. The wife and I hit the back side of the lacassine refuge. We caught more bream etc. than you can count. Most were to small to keep. We also caught quite a few small bass on shiners. I didn't have any bass gear with me, but the Guys that did were smoking them. We fished the south roller an I'm hearing its the same story at the north roller. About half way down the water turns pretty and black. I would assume it will be the same way in the pipeline canals but haven't checked.

The word from all the bass guys is its on back there right now, it might be something worth checking out for you.

Fished for a couple of hours this morning, spinnerbaits were the ticket today... All fish caught right up on the bank and between lilies, only one hit in open water.

Tried plastics for first hour or so to no avail...

Water still funky and high but the fish are there...

Good luck !

Six... If you go, try a white/silver little bandit crankbait and let me know how that works out. Once they started hitting the spinnerbaits I stayed with it...

Water was flowing good out of all the cuts...
