Default VB salinity rising, Butte la Rose falling

Salinity at Cyp. Pt. now 3.5ppt, , Lake Fearman 3 ppt. Both rising nicely. Projected Butte la Rose level by July 5 is 11.4 feet and falling rapidly. I have followed sage advice from veteran fisherman, that Butte La Rose at 10 feet or less and falling is the number one predictor for Trout in the bay. I has proven quite accurate for me. Tight lines.

Water was chocolate on Saturday. Should clean up nicely the next couple days. Wouldn't be suprised if we hear of nice trout caught in the inside. The reefs will definitely be on fire outside the pass.

Fished most of the day yesterday and barely did not scratch. Fished the pass, nearby reefs out of the pass and offshore rigs for specks.

Expecting the same thing. Fished a reef outside pass yesterday with GasperMaster and we only picked one speck and was a good one. Water was still not very clean but I am sure they are there.

In addition to the river it is important to keep tract of the winds. East wind is poison for the bay and surrounding areas unless the river really low.
