Default Duck hunting sickness/addiction

I am stoked. Just looked at Accuweather and the official long range forecast reaches to November 10th!

http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/cro.../333424?day=21

I know its getting close, roughly 40% of my thought goes to duck hunting. I have trouble listening, focusing on routine things. Ravenous appetite for duck hunting shows.

My wife caught me looking at the Cabela's and Mack's Prairie wings catalogs the other day....Sick, Sick, Sick!

What bizarre, strange, motorized decoy of cannibalized parts will i fashion in the next couple of weeks?

I dreamed I was duck hunting last night, we were swatting green heads and specks. I was so mad when I woke up.

That would be great with a 10 mph wind. I can see the wings couped up now! Come on opening morning.

I just want to have a pile of ducks working, not really picky on the weather. It can be 95F with 100% humidity, as long as there are birds.

Does anyone else mark up the Macks PW and Cabelas catalogs with wish lists, look at the prices and then say nah?.........I have done that for a couple of years now. My totals come out to about $1,000 every year. Exercises in futility just to pass the time.

No, I normally just buy them then ask the wife for forgiveness later, it's easier that way and you get what you want.

My wife threw away my MPW catalog yesterday. She asked if I was going to buy anything out of it...I hung my head and said, no.

Same thing here. I get a ton of hunting magazines this time of year. Between my wife throwing them away and my neighbor stealing them I don't get to look at them.

I do that under $300. Of course 3 $300 dollar buys.....Meh, what's the difference.

When I see Gap Credit cards and Best Buy Credit Cards I throw them away, Never letting my wife see them. When I see coupons and sales deals in the mail I throw them away also. When I see Victoria's Secret Lingerie catalogs I put them on the Kitchen Counter.
