Good luck finding one for that price that kills birds consistently. You gotta know the right people to get in on that deal.

If I can't get something decent for that price ill hunt the river. It's pathetic what it has come to for a lease!

You gotta be rich or know the land owners to get a good lease these days. I know someone paying 30k a year for a lease in pecan island.

Justly got on a half section with my wife's grandpa. Doesn't look like it will be very productive for what I'm paying, but he kind of let it go over the years. Hopefully I can get it to where it needs to be.

An avgerage rice field lease where I am south of kaplan is 6.5 to 7.5k per year for one blind and most land owners have a waiting list. Split it 3 ways with friends and cost is not that bad.

Like meaux stated....good luck even finding a bad blind for even 4 k.

Is that the school board section that a couple of club members bid against each other? Heard there were some hard feelings over that.

Yeh. It was pretty stupid. Members that didn't get along with each other. Everyone fought over the best blind every morning. Duck hunting has become serious business.

That seems to happen every time you get too many people involved.
