My only concern is that i don't ever remember hearing of all the sightings this early. I guess the lack of water up north might be driving them.

Lack of water up north plus the early weather up north. They werent comfortable. The would sit they get up and fly away. We weren't scaring em we were at a distance so I think they just getting here because they weren't here two weeks ago. I say thousands but I tend to exaggerate but it was a lot and definately not the same ones. They rice has just been harvested and they were all in the rice. Big groups no small ones which makes me think they just get here also but they also haven't been shot at so that could be why they aren't in smaller groups as well. If I had to put a number on em I'd say there was close to 700-1000 that the guys saw total. I'll probly be there again tomorrow

They closing teal season because of the drought up north. Unfair advantage to the hunters.

Hadn't thought about the drought up north. It could make for a REALLY good year down here.
