Default Lacassine reserve

I don't know how many of you hunt the reserve but for those who hunt the pipeline I hope you have a mud boat because the pipeline canal has about an 8" thick mat of giant salvania. I have a picture but it's on my phone that I don't know how to upload it.

This would have been my 7th year to be hunting out there but I'm done with it, it's like a woman the harder you try harder she makes it for you.

Hagen quit posting old pics to steer people away from the reserve. Why don't you tell them about the thousands of teal we saw buzzing the marsh

That was all the reminder I needed of why I don't hunt out there and refuse to anymore, and I'm curious how a cold front will wash that stuff out it might thin it up some but it comes right back unless it freezes to my understanding.

The only thing that gets rid of it on the river is high water, all it does is push it out you still have small pockets of it, it comes back fast in the summer. A cold front isn't going to kill that.
