Default decoys

Where can I find duck decoys. I need a few dozen pintail and mallard and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Avery or Flambeau.

Internet. Rogers, Knutson's, Macks, G and H., and a bunch of others. Locally LCT usually has decoys, may be a little early for them.

I have several green head gear duck decoys that the paint is wearing off. And they always sleep inside.

Honestly those decoys that ol boy thought were "vintage" yesterday are some of the best IMO. My dad has about a dozen of those old flambeaus left that he used to abuse in Sabine for years. Paint is still on them just fine.

If I were looking for new duck decoys I would go with g and h. They are very durable, at least the ones I got are. Whatever you do, stay far away from the game winner brand from academy. Bought a dozen teal bc they were such a good price and over half of them were crap. The seam where the keel meets the body would leak

Green head gear fade way too bad and keels break all the time. Not worth the money. I've pulled tons of decoys straight out of the box that were already cracked. Now speck decoys, GHG or dave smiths

The problem with internet purchase is the shipping cost is rediculous. 60-120 dollars for 5 dozen decoys depending on the sight.

Have you tried G and H in Gueydan? Never looked for duck decoys there but they have the best prices on speck decoys

These came from G and H. They had the best price that we could find. The only place that could beat the price was Rogers but they wouldn't ship the speck decoys for free so with shipping it came out to about 10 bucks more a box. They ship almost every other Avery goose decoy for free but not the specks

Shop for your decoys a week after duck season closes at places like Academy and G&H

Two years ago at Academy after the season closed the Decoys were $12 per dozen (teal ,Mallard, pintail, spoons, black mallards and wiegon)

I loaded up with 15 dozen
