Thanks Clampy... Just looking for a little feedback on where they're biting (besides in the mouth) and what they're biting on... I got all the other things needed, bay rig, rods, gas, snacks and time....

If your nephew will be here for a couple of days maybe you could plan a crabbing and shrimping trip to Rockefeller. Some good reports have been posted lately and I am sure he would enjoy that experience.

Looks like it will only be a one day trip... Rockefeller or big lake was my first couple of thoughts but I,m more familiar with the Bay Area... I only been to big lake once and Rockefeller twice... Thanks for the info...

Just go and find clean water, weather man can't even predict when the sun will set, so where've they are biting now will probably change.
It's fall in south LA, you move around a bit and find good water with structure, you will catch. Hook and line maps can be had at academy and provide great general areas and times of year with coords. Sent |
