Considering booking an overnight trip in late August or early September. Suggestions on moon phase to book around?

I assume your talking about tuna / offshore here... Personally i want either a full moon or no moon. In no moon scenario you have the lights on the rigs attracting bait and concentrating fish, for full moon scenario's it just seems like the fish are gonna be more active.

On a side note.. holler at me if you are looking for someone to split charter costs with you... if i can make it i will be there.

In my opinion, a overnighter in the hot months is just that the tuna will be up in the water column giving you many many chances at catching fish all throughout the night just may have to bounce around, no moon, full moon and everything in between I have caught them.

Got a trip booked for Aug 28/29 with Deep South. May have an opening or two if anyone is interested.
