Default Sacs on the move in Henderson

Talked to a buddy of mine who went yesterday and caught around 70 with a friend in the boulevard area yesterday....went back this morning and caught only 2. He said the water dirtied up overnight so the sacs may be on the move to clearer waters. I am going tomorrow so I will let you boys know if I find them. Has anyone heard anything any reports from today?

Since we blowing up spots might as well roll with it....the pits north of i10 are producing along with fourdoce. Mouth of the jesus canal was on point last week. Have fun with the boat parade!

I must confess all of my information is from personal fishing log I have been making for years. I have not fished henderson in months. Bay patin side should be better. Fish will bite even with the rising water. Last week my neighbor did well around jesus canal. I pretty much wrote henderson off, rather fish the east side of the river away from the crowds. I fished henderson 3-4 times a week as a kid with my dad and continued when I turned 16 and got my own boat. But I got tired of the disrespect and people getting killed by drunk idiots. Good luck...

One spot I will talk about that most people will not fish is bayou amy on the other side of the levee from henderson. Don't have to worry about people crowding you cause of the small size of the bayou. Don't let that muddy water fool you,got some super slabs in there. Fish the laydowns and stumps, look for 6-10 foot of water. Tightline pink and chart tube jigs with a 1/8 oz jighead. The areas you can fish is almost endless down to catahoula and all the way to fausse point. This area really turns on in oct and nov.
