Default Calcasieu River Above Ward 8 Park

I took one of my dispatchers fishing today. Because of the dealership messing up on working on my wife's car, I had to bring her to work. We didn't get on the water till 8 o'clock and he had to be back at the launch for 12 o'clock. He hadn't been fishing since a child so it was a learning experience for him. He's from West Texas so this was a new experience all together for him. I ended up catching 7-8 bass on a fluke and a goggle eye. Overall we had a good time and caught a few fish that still swimming tonight. After I dropped him I ran down south for a little bit. On the way I noticed an elderly couple using the trolling motor in the middle of the river with their motor tilted up. Long story short their motor broke down and needed a tow back. As soon as we hit the bank he tried to pay me and I would have nothing to do with it. I told him I would hope he would do the same for me. Nothing feels better than helping a person out especially and elderly person.
