Default Jugging on the Calcasieu River

The wife, our son and myself threw some jugs out on the river Friday night. It seemed like everybody else had the same ideal. Every bay and cut had jugs in them. By the time we found one that didn't and had the lines out it was way past dark. We used an assortment of crawfish and chicken hearts for bait. We was on the water at the crack of dawn to see what kind of catch we had. Well out of 48-50 jugs all we caught was 2 buffalo I knew not to expect much but that was a little disappointing but to my son that was exciting just catching that. That made it all worth the while being that was the reason we went. When we got to the launch we privileged to see a brief appearance of Hydro fishing. The buffalo was kept so it can be used as cut bait in the future. That's my report and I'm sticking to it. No pictures to show our awesome catch. Lol

I figured it would've been pretty. Did you try Westfork?
