Wondering if anyone has heard anything this week. Finally got my trolling motor running again so I am gonna go to one of them with the river falling slowly for some Sacs and Bass. Appreciate any info that anyone shares. I'll let you boys know how it goes

Nothing like Bass blowin up a topwater !!! Had my 7 by 9:00 this morning so I decided to start Sac a Lait fishing and I caught 2 for Lagniappe ! Talked to a buddy of mine at the landing who had 20 Sacs. I was fishing a little too shallow....Sacs are holding in 7-10 foot of water. Gonna post some pics later....Tight lines to all!

Nice catch bro, caught a few sacalait last weekend in Henderson and on my way back my axle broke on the boat trailer so it might be a lil while before I can get back on the water.

That sucks man....it was probably coming over one of the over passes. Every time I cross one I just see my boat bounce around and I cross my fingers. Gotta love those LA highways ! Hope you can get back into action soon.

No doubt about that.....the last one you cross before getting to the henderson exit is terrible. I usually piss a bunch of people off and go slow.

Any advice on where to catch bass at? Not asking for secret spots just can't seem to find any decent ones when I go to Henderson.

Try north bigeaux, texas canal, and phillips canal. Black buzzbait works good in the morning.....most of the weekly bass tournaments have been won punching grass with a 1oz weight wit brushhogs.

Put it this way.....anywhere you look and think I don't want to cast in that stuff I will get crap all over my bait.....they under that stuff. Caught all of mine on the north side of Henderson in 3-4 feet of water early in the morning. Can't go wrong with frogs and buzzbaits early in the morning. Like Montauk said...big weights + punching grass / lilies = bass !
