I just ordered new units for my boat as well. If you go to moodeals.com they have the whole package set up with the touch. The unit, LSS2 skimmer, transducer and the module to connect to the HDS that you want to put on the bow of your boat. The only thing else you will need to order is the cable that goes from the module to the HDS 7 on the bow of your boat.
I know you are probably saying moodeals.com but I have ordered talons from them and a couple of chart/sonar combos from them as well. They have the best price on the internet. Check it out You can buy the HDS Touch anyway you want with the shallow or deep water transducer; LSS2 with module; or just the head unit. |

You just need the unit and the lss2 transducer. To hook to hds 7 you just need an ethernet cable.

You can buy the hds 7 touch with 4 different Option Hds 7m, which the m is for maps. No transducer.
Hds7 touch comes with either the 50/200 or the 83/200 transducer. Or the bundle package Hds7 touch with structure scan, With either transducer. If you want S.S. get the bundle with the 83/200 transducer. That's what I have on my bay boat. The 50/200 transducer will say it is for saltwater but that's DEEP blue water. The Ethernet cable will link the 2 units. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk |

Ok thanks. That's a big help. I thought that maybe they could use transducer that's already on boat and I could just add the new touch unit with lss2 skimmer. I think I could come out cheaper maybe picking them up seperatrly. But I'll check out that website for sure

You may be able to use the same transducer. I know you can select from a list of transducers in the settings for the hds 7 touch.
