Headknocker Crowded Dularge Fishing

Brother-in-law and I busted a few specks this weekend but the amount of boaters was unbelievable. We could walk across the water on the boats. 33 specks was our total for the day because we had to stay anchor in one spot all day because of boats 6 ft from us. I thought big lake had pressure. I heard many people commenting how a Houma TV station ruined it for everyone. Not going back unless on weekdays.

Default Looks like the infamous rock dam

in the Deer Bayou area. Heard that one of the charter captains brought a camera crew with him one day to fish......traffic has been bad ever since!

A friend of mine said at one point there was 14 boats in that spot but they were at least catching some fish. I fished the TBC and didn't do near as well.

You are fishing in the wrong spot if the boats are like that!

If you're talking about the early run they made last year on Memorial Day weekend, I was probably one of them boats you counted. Didn't catch a a bunch but the ones we caught were some hogs! The first day we fished that weekend we only caught 18, but they made 5 gallon bags of fillets
