Default 2/26 Calcasieu Parish

Late getting to the lake, as soon as we got there caught a nice trout. It was foggy and no wind at all -was gonna be perfect. 5 minutes later wind picked up and remained all day. Had a friend and his 12 yr old son who has never fished from a boat. Wind and inexperience made for a fun day looking out for hooks flying Finally got the young one on some reds and jsut couldn't get the hookset down, so tied on a circle hook and it was on. 10 trout, 4 reds, and a flattie. Wish we were there at daylight, I think a topwater bite could have been real good. Friend caught a pretty big 'W' also on 12 lb test, made for an adventure. Got drum slime all in the boat

Good job putting the kid on some nice fish. His smile in the second pic says it all.

As for the rest of you, you guys are crazy and always make me laugh.
