Ya almost look like you're doing something wrong in that last pic. LOL!

The house is looking great! Hopefully, I can slide away from here one day and get a tour. Got some stuff that I've had for you for a while anyway.

Here are some pics of the wood floors I'm putting in. Random width 3", 4",6" and8" planks reclaimed dirty top heart pine going everywhere except the baths

Decided to go dirty top in case I move in so my dogs won't destroy a smooth sanded heart pine floor

These aren't the actual floors it's a picture from my wood supplier house/showroom . That is what they will look like though. If I don't move in this one , when I build mine I'm going to recess the slab and put sleepers and have 16" wide planks dirty top floors ... I live that look of old wood

Looks really nice.
Makes huge difference running your own framing and finish crews.
Love best one years ago a builder who was my customer had some jacklegs do his slab work and they didn't put the anchor bolts in. Don't ask what simpson fasteners cost to fix that problem. Laughed my tail off almost as bad as Dr Horton.

BTW, since Mike isn't here any longer, I have been told that the deal is done on this house. It is sold! Regardless of how anyone here feels about him, he is a great builder! Ya oughta see his products! I'll try to get some finished pics when they are available to post on his behalf.

I met Poxy and Lucas for lunch on Saturday and then headed over to check out his handy work on the house. All I can say is WOW - absolutely amazing work. I only wish I lived in LA to take advantage of his skills. For those in the BR area looking for a new home, or just remodeling work, definitely give him a look.

X2. I've walked that house a few times from when mike first formed it to about 1 month ago. It's amazing!!
I've seen a few of his other masterpieces and he is definitely on the short list of premier builders in the BR area!!
Plus he's an honest guy , doesnt take short cuts, does it the right way every time, stays ontop of his crew & will do whatever is needed to please his customers.

Its hard to find people you can trust to do good work and do it right... we have several people in the Lake Charles area that do houses but I would not trust many, looks like he has put allot into that house and done quality work
