Hairout Boat Thieves!!

I hope they rot in HELL! Went to my boat today to grab a few items. GONE MISSING:

Yeti Ice Chest (stickers make it easy to ID)
Costa Del Mar Sun Glasses
West Marine inflatable life vest
Nikon Binoculars

They were nice enough to leave my filet knife. The folks at the Lake Charles Country Club informed me they had a rash of several break ins last week. Guess they didn't bother calling or emailing the slip owners to inform them of it!

May who ever did it burn!

high school kids.....good luck with that. we used to have tubes, wake boards, life jackets etc...come up missing from there so we started taking 'em home. nevermind the lockers...those didn't deter 'em either.

I don't leave anything in my boat while it is at home.
WHen I lived in Cameron, no one touched anything in my boats.
Moved to Lake Charles and **** goes missing anytime I leave it in the boat.
That's why my Yeti stays in the house.
Way too many thieves in Lake Charles area.

Had a battery stolen off of my big boat in Olmsted's Shipyard boat house couple months ago.
Been there since 2001 and never had anything go missing.

My neighbor just bought a new boat and caught the two teenagers trying to pick it clean in his driveway last Tuesday night around 2300hrs ...

We live in Weaver Park, the little thieves live in Reserve which is the next subdivision over... Pathetic...

Sorry for your loss...

yeah know how u feel i kept my aluminum boat with 25hp at my parents house. They lived there for thirty years never had anything stolen. Next thing u know started putting up alot of low income housing on the street over. I go to get my boat one day to go fishing and the motor is gone. That was about 10 years ago and never seen it again.

I think these thieves knew what they were looking for. Took all the high end stuff. Left little things alone.

Few weeks back made an evening trip in Delacroix. Caught 11 and just left them in the ice chest in the boat in the slip as I was going back out in the am. Go to put more ice in the chest the next am and some sob stole all of my fish. Didn't take the ice chest just the fish.

Hear Sam Powell had the same problem a month or two ago....you would think the country club would be safe....guess not....would lobby for tighter security...ie cameras and signs to at least deter the foolish
