Cheers Grand Isle Trout 6-14-12

Day 3 with the INOLECT Crew, more trout fillets filling the ice-chest!! Our first stop did not produce like it did yesterday, (only a few trout and a red fish) so we were on the move. Went check out another location I had not been to yet and found the trout stacked like sardines, every-cast action (only problem is they were all too small). Made a few moves catching at least 100 fish that were all too small. Enough of all the small fish, it was time to hit the honey hole (boy did it pay off). It was fish on from the first cast, double rigs with one plastic and one croaker free-lined had the fish coming in 3-6 at a time every-cast. Plastics of choice today were Avocado Matrix shad, and Avocado Cocodrie Cocahoes. We called it a day around 12:00 to head back to Shawn P's fried fish, and shrimp/crab bisque....talk about good!! Huge thanks to Lonnie Barr for putting this fabulous trip together.

Big thanks to Capt Travis miller for running the second boat with me here, and Capt Chris Venable for taking out Mr Jack Whitehead and crew in Dularge slamming the trout. Everyone had a blast.
