LDWF busted 3 guys for blocking Grand wier with a shrimp trawl at night.

Glad they got caught .BUT! why did LDWF agents wait until they had over 600 lbs of shrimp before making an arrest??? One time of being seen was enough to make an arrest.

dont understand if they went through the weirs and set nets or set them up outside the weirs. ????

Depends on the tide....really don't matter because 200 feet both ways are closed to fishing and harvest

When I read this earlier today my first reaction was. There's the explanation for the trout not being as big as before. These guys have been taking the food source that is needed for the trout to eat and grow.
