Went out this past Tuesday. Water was nice around tiger shoals, west and beyond. Caught a few nice trout, just tough fishing though with the tide ripping that day.

Some guys that I work with were heading out of the pass this weekend. I'll ask them how the water looked and let you know.

Dont want to hijack thread but can someone give me a good explaination of where Tiger Shoal is?
It always sucks to get to T-Butte and realize the water there and Diamond reef is unfishable.

I have looked on maps and It shows tiger Shoals as a large area not a specific location.
Is there any type of marker (rig or pilings) or is it an underwater structure?

Thanks.

Friend of mine hit SMI hard on Friday. If the fish are there, he usually finds them. They caught 1 fish...he said the water was terrible.

We ventured way out to Eugene Island Saturday...weather was absolutely perfect! Had a live well full of shrimp and cocahoes. We bounced around pretty good and found some nice emerald green water. Might have been too green, caught plenty of Spanish and lady fish but only 3 trout.

Yeah that run normally yields a couple of limits of fish or more...especially being able to hit up 74 in the past.

Pulled up to the spot, dropped the anchor about 7 a.m., first two casts fish on!! Thought it was gonna be a massacre...tide went slack not long after.

Decided to go on Wednesday and the weather was nice. Got on the water around 9 and headed to t-butte. It looked like nestle quick and tasted like kentwood so I didn't even stop. Headed straight to TShoals and began to pick up a few. Tide picked up alot around 2 ish and that's when we caught most of em. Ended up with 15 specs .... Most on glo/chart sand eel jr. And salt and pepper terror tail. Water was ok but river needs to go down some more.... Still lilies floating around out there. But they there.....
