Cheers Sickening Trout Action 10-16-13

David Thibodaux with Elmar and Ernest Finley joined me today. Always fun fishing with David, Burnhacks, hooping, and hollering like crazy!! Insane, insane action today, as it just doesn't get any better. Our second stop of the morning over a reef had us reeling in trout 3-6 at a time everycast for a good 1.5 hours. The trout ate our baits like there was no tomorrow, almost pulling the pole out your hands when they struck. Double rigged Matrix Shad tightlined slowly was key, no other baits compare to the durability and catchability. Tiger, Lemon, Green Hornet, and Pink Champagne put a serious hurt on the trout. The school of specks had some 13-15 inch white trout mixed in with them and David wanted to keep them. Another 60 white trout hit the K2 along with our specks. Sister lake/Lake Mechant are full of fish. Fishing the reefs have been most productive, but plenty good fish are showing up under the birds. Thanks again guys for a splendid day....Happy, Happy, Happy!!

Big thanks to Chas Champagne at Dockside for creating what is now the best soft plastic on the market...Matrix Shad and Vortex Shad. If you do not have any in your boat, your doing yourself injustice. Plain and simple.
Dates are limited, so you need to call to secure your dates!! We have the boats available for all your needs and the finest lodging Dularge has to offer sleeping 20 guest.
