BigGrin Swimming with Marlin in 85 degree Quepos Costa Rica!

Wow, Christmas fishing has been awesome! We went out today and boated a nice Marlin and three sailfish. We also had another of those crazy customers who jumped in a swam with the Marlin before we released it, it was an awesome time! This week has been really good for the Marlin, we've had 3 in the last four trips, two blacks and this striped, and every week seems to get busier! We have been spending tons of money on the boat, so it's hard to safe if that's paying off or there are just a ton of Marlin in the area, but either way, we'll take it! Check out the awesome photos the customer just sent in!

That place is fun for Sails. I swam with a Sailfish.
My step mom caught one and another was swimming with it when it got to the boat.
Everyone was grabbing a rod trying to catch it.

Yeah, they are mating right now and they always come up in pairs it seems like. Usually it seems like if they were both hungry, you get the double right away, but once the action is over and you see the other one down there at the end of the fight, it's hard to hook. Check out this picture we took a couple of months ago swimming with a sail:

Thanks. I must have snapped 100 pictures of the water to finally get those two of the Marlin on top. And I never got a good one of when he was all the way out, but I just ordered one of those Sony 10 shots per minute DSLR cameras off of ebay and hopefully pretty soon I can start catching some photos of these things when they come flying out!
