fool, i have a finish carpentry business, we build custom staircases, interior trim custom moldings, cabinets, and some heart pine/ cypress furniture. when i have slow or down time we will also do some framing work but i prefer not to! i love my job but hate the stress of keeping a crew of guys oon track and with enough work to keep them busy. luckily we have been extremly busy the sence katrina

I am a uscg licensed tankerman.. I am the person responsible for barges transferring product to the refineries. If I screw up at my job ,it makes the news and I go to jail. I just make sure no chemicals get in our water.

I am a LSU student,a bartender(which i hate), and I also give pitching lessons on the side for extra cash every once in a while. I graduate this summer and I am hoping to get a teaching job/coaching job. Hopefully at some point I wll be able to get my masters and coach at the college level.

I am a structural fitter for Gulf Island Fabrication, we build the decks and jackets that go in the Gulf of Mexico, North Sea, Ivory Coast and anywhere else anyone has a well in production. Currently we are loading a small deck onto a bargefor Arena that is headed for the High Island field in the GOM.

I'm a history teacher. As my name suggests, I was once a football/baseball coach, but I hung up my whistle and fungo bat this year after 16 years. It's nice to finally have time to grade papers. I spend most of my spare time resurrecting my fishing camp from Ike's wrath.

If we're talking about dads too, mine is a chemical engineering professor at Tulane.

Yes, we incorporated them into Gulf Island, now since the living quarter business is slow they are building the cabins for our marine division.
