Default West Bound Again.....

Heading over to Broussard friday to visit the daughter. You guys have helped me out a ton with info on meats and boudin shopping at Herberts, Best Stop,
Chops and Nunu's in the past and I thank you so todays Pilgrim Questions are Wheres the best Andouille, And what and where are the best rubs, sauces(Luds, etc) and marinades. Will be staying in Broussard and shopping on Saturday and then driving down to Morgan City to NO and back to Pensacola.

I drive from Baton Rouge to best stop in Scott 5 -6 times a year to buy andoullie.

Hard to beat the best stop for any kind of meat. Pick up some of their smoked boudin,good stuff!

I have yet to find good andouille anywhere near Lafayette...not enough German influence on this side of the state. You want the best andouille, go to Jacob's in LaPlace. They make REAL andouille sausage, not the hot dogs they sell at the shops around Lafayette.

Sorry 82, but i make all my own rubs and sauces.
But before i started making my sauce i used a half an half mix of sweet baby rays
or bone suckin sauce and jack millers sauce.
