Default Springfield XD

Does anyone own or have you shot any of the springfield xd's or xdm's? Are they reliable? Looking at their website I feel like its a wannabe glock. how do they compare with similar glocks? with misfeeds, jams, or just all around. or is it really just about how they feel while your holding it as a major difference.

Very reliable & probably one of the most accurate pistols I've ever shot. I have it in .45 ACP, Love it!

I have the xdm in 9mm. Outstanding gun! I've always owned Sigs and I think the feel of the XDM is much better than my Sigs. Very accurate also- guess that has to do with the match grade barrel they come with

I have an XD40. It's a really comfortable gun to shoot. I can't stand the grips on a glock. I plan on picking up a 9mm next.

I wouldnt trade my XD-40 for anything but a 1911... One of my favorite hand guns along with my "FH-Herstal Five-Seven"...

I caught mine on sale at Academy in L/C for under $500. That's hard case, holster, loader, 2 clips & douple clip holster.

I have the XDM 40. Great Gun. I have a Glock 27 which i really like also. When it came time to buy a second gun it came down to the Glock 22 and the XDM 40. The grip on the XDM was a lot more comfortable than the Glock for me.

I called Academy, the guy I talked to said they haven't had this gun there in a few years and he doesn't think they will get any more but he's showing it listed at $650. I called Buckfins N Feathers and they have a few in stock for $650. I'm gonna call Lafayette Shooters tomorrow just to see how much more they are charging than anywhere else.
