The Roux (Cooking/BBQ/Recipes) What good is a cajun site without a cooking and recipe forum?

Default Ribeye in a gravy

Decided to try ribeyes a little different last night. It's not as fancy as SigNate's ridiculously amazing looking meals, but it stank up the house real nice!!

Swamp, I got the pot as a wedding gift. If I'm not mistaken he got it at a little country store, Doyce Lagneaux's, in Lafayette. I have seen a few in there before. It's my favorite one for cooking anything in. It has a little weight to it, so it's a pain to clean in a kitchen sink.

Mequain, it was good. I wasn't to sure how it would come out but I'll be cooking that again for sure!

Matt, don't sell yourself or that meal short. That's a fine looking meal there. I'd scarf it down!

Thanks, after I seen yours I looked online and classic cajun depot has some. There's a little hardware store by my house that I'm fairly certain I could order it from. I've never seen one likt it though.
