Default Eggs & Hot Sausage Patties

Well, since I had fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh eggs and fresh hot sausage patties I decided to have a little breakfast.

Eggs sunnyside up, hot sausage patty, 12 grain toast, supremed oranges and fresh Blood orange juice. Time to eat!

Thanks!

I have eight, all hens. The other day I picked up seven fresh layed eggs that day. I'm sure this little cool front will shock them into reduced egg count for a few days.

They lay on a 27 hour and temps have less to do with it than the amount of light they getting. Light is what triggers egg production. If you can run a light to the hen house and make sure they getting 14-15 of light a day, production levels will remain high until they go into a dormant egg cycle. After that they will start popping them out again.

I have 4 hens and I get 3-4 eggs day. For the past month they been slacking off I guess they between cycles, however, here in the past few days they have really started popping them out. I didn't collect Saturday and yesterday afternoon I picked up 7.

I know about the light thing but it seems like whenever we get a cold front come through it must shock them and reduces the egg laying.
