Default West Cove

What does the water look like in West Cove? How has the fishing been? I am thinking about fishing there this weekend but I have heard that the water clarity is not good and fishing has been pretty slow for the last couple of weeks.

Fished it yesterday on the north end. Picked up a few fish. Water wasn't fantastic but not too bad. If the weather stays calm this week it should be looking pretty good by the weekend.

Made a pass there Saturday and I thought it looked a little dirty compared to the ship channel but not sure what it is supposed to look like since was only my second time going into the cove.

It only takes a day or so with a good tide to clean it up.... South cut to west cove channel side. Had good luck in the past there with a good moving outgoing tide. Throwing live to the south

Well the weekend is about here and I am still planning on fishing West Cove. Any updates on water clarity and what the fishing is like?

Went there yesterday and fished south end by old dock. Water wasnt bad but i didnt catch any fish either.

Had 3 or four blow ups on topwater but nothing that would take it.
