Default Brown Rice

Has anyone ever made a Jambalaya with brown rice? I bought some Jazzman Brown Rice and I actually liked it, thinking about maybe trying to make a jambalaya with it.

I cooked a small one in a rice cooker one time and it was alright.

But if you have found a brown rice that you like, I would try it again.

I'm going to look for that rice over here on the west side.

It's pretty good for Brown Rice...... They have a pic of Louis Armstrong playing the trumpet on the bag, I believe its Blue.

Supposedly its a rice developed by LSU over the last 12 years and all local grown stuff. It wasn't much more exp than the other brown rice either.

There is a website. It's called Jazzmen rice... Looks like they sell it in Lake Chuck at Browns on Gulf Hwy
