mud tires

What is the biggest and best mud tire for a 1992 toyota with a 4 cylinder and no lift? Also I found some kenda klever m/t 31x10.50r15 for about $130 a tire. Does anyone know how well these tires perform in the mud? Or should I look at more expensive tires.

Mostly offroad. I hunt out of it and don't really want to climb in and out of a tall truck. But I do drive it to town for beer runs(about 10 miles one way) and occasionally to my home town(about 50 miles one way). Other than that it's pretty much strictly on the deer lease which is only a few hundred yards from my house.

Have 31 10.50 15 on our toyota with no lift at the deer lease....I would not go any bigger without a lift. If I remember right they are remington mud brute's and they pull awesome.

Don't overload the truck with a big tire
Those Remington mud brutes are a great tire for that truck & use.

Yes, I figured I couldn't fit a tire big enough to overload the truck too bad without lifting it.

Do they still make buckshot mudders? Had P's under my 83 Toy and they pulled and lasted the entire time I owned it. Interco used to handle them.

It depends on what you do with the truck. If the mud is nasty and you need something really aggressive look at the boggers. Had 33 on a Toyota and it was ALMOST unstoppable

I wish they made a bogger in 31x10.50r15. I think 33 in a tire that heavy might be too much for the tired little 4 banger without a gear swap. Truck runs good but does have a little over 300,000 miles on it.

Check out the Goodyear wrangler authority from wal mart. I was passing by and they caught my eye. Did a little bit of research out of curiosity and it seems like they do real well on jeeps and yotas. I will probably put a set on my Tacoma when I need new tires unless further research shows they aren't any good

They still make buckshots. I have a set on my yota. Allied has them on Prien. My 33's were 145 a tire last year.

Half my high school ran either P's or Q's but dad did have a set of N's on our camp ride. I still had 50% tread after 5 yrs but only ran them from Sept-Feb.

I have some Kenda Klevers on my truck and I am satisfied with them although I have only had them for about a year and the truck is not a daily driver. I bought mine off of Ebay and they were shipped to my house for free. I paid $640 for some 265/70-17 70R

i have 285/75/16 (33") klevers and i play in the mud a lot. they do fine, grab and clean well. they are almost identical to the toyo mud graplers. even the outter tread on the side wall is similar. ive had them for a year now and i have put 35k on them and still have good tread. i also bought them in E loads even though theyre on my frontier.
