Default Hackberry (black lake)

Anyone fish the west side of black lake? Specifically the washed out levee? This levee has been washed for some time and is wide open. They will run you out of it. Got ran out Friday, but what pisses me off is Kurt Marcantel has markers 80 or so yards out in the lake now saying you have to be past that. That has and is open, navigable water. How can he now take up more of the open lake and more importantly who can I contact about this. I have emailed Boustany's office this morning. My brother in law got temporary results a few years back from him.

Yeah you can't go in the marsh that is obviously private but he doesn't own 80 yards out into the lake.

Haha, ole Marcantel. Dude is something else. I feel for you man, I've seen how he is with his workers. I can only imagine how he would act towards a stranger.

That levee finally washed out? Last time I was out there it was all busted up, pain in the you-know-what to drive a 4-Wheeler on.

Definitely can't claim the lake, but is it for certain the lake? It may be open water right now, but it may have been on his property at some point. I mean, I look at that place and see nothing but open water, even between those terraces which are in the historic marsh area.

He does own a pretty massive chunk of land out there.

Should have seen the pretty penny he listed it at a few years ago.

Not even signs. Just PVC poles. His little crabber guard dog is who ran us out. I'd like to pull them up and shove them up his azz.

Smalls, its at least 80 yds away from where the levee was. For sure the lake.
W, very good point. I'd be keeping our lakes clean lol.
