Default Stephensville 3/11/12

Wife wanted to go for a boat ride yesterday afternoon so I brought a few fishing poles. Water around Grassy Lake was looking better than it had in a while and 67 degrees average. Made a few stops along 4 mile bayou and fished some of the run outs and points. Caught 12 nice bass pretty quick but she wanted to ride and not watch me fish so I kept 5 for dinner and rode over to Lake Verret to make Momma happy. She took tons of pics of Bald Eagles and pelicans. The Pelicans are really making a comeback in my area. It's nice to see. All of the bass were caught on crank baits and a white spinner. When I cleaned them they all had crawfish in them so it might be a good time to break out your jigs and crawfish plastics. I'm heading to work Thursday so I hope to make a few more trips before I have to leave. I will post up my results and let you know if they are eating on the crawfish.
