Default Opinions please!

Looking at picking up a 2008 Blazer Bay 2220 fisherman. Has a yammy 150 with 100 hours. What do you think is a fair price and am I wasting my time with a 150 on it? Has no trolling motor, electronics or stereo.

Unless it is a crazy good deal like under 20 grand I would probably pass. That is under powered and you will have to put a few thousand into it to make it fishable

but you can put what you want on it, as long as you would be fine not having the most powerful engine

You have to tell us how much. Then we can tell you if it's worth it.

Too many out there for sale to get this one not rigged out unless as stated above..very cheap...as in cheap enough to cover the difference of rigging all the electronics and be in the same ball park price of just finding one ready to hit the water...

Too much money plus it will cost $4K - $5K to rig it out if you do it yourself. 150HP is not enough power. I had a 140HP on a 19' that I thought was underpowered. I have a 22' Blazer Bay with a 225hp and I feel it is powered nicely. I just bought a 22' Blazer Bay, PM me and I can give you specific pricing feedback.

I'll agree with everyone here and say that is too much.

As far as being under powered depends on your intended use. If you do most of your fishing 10 minutes from the launch it's not a big deal. If you running out to the shallow platforms.... well I'd want more motor to get it done.

I'd say a fair value is about $20,000

He may have set his price based on this.....

Run from it. I have a 2200 profesional with a 250 HPDI and I gave 22K for. But had to put another 3,000 in it to get it right.
