Here is the Office of State Lands website GIS viewer that lists what is State owned water bottoms. I'm no attorney, but every time I do any development on the water, the Office of State Lands claims ownership of the water bottom once we get to -1.0 M.S.L., so someone would have a tough time proving you are trespassing in 3' of water while fishing. Now if you anchor, that is a different story.

That levee finally washed out? Last time I was out there it was all busted up, pain in the you-know-what to drive a 4-Wheeler on.

Definitely can't claim the lake, but is it for certain the lake? It may be open water right now, but it may have been on his property at some point. I mean, I look at that place and see nothing but open water, even between those terraces which are in the historic marsh area.

He does own a pretty massive chunk of land out there.

Should have seen the pretty penny he listed it at a few years ago.
The law considers this private property.

Who said it wasn't? Nobody said the marsh wasn't private.
