Default weights

had a situation today. throwing a 3/16 sled head with a 5"jerk shad, curado 200 sf, no weights out and i got too many professional over runs, 1 weight out and i felt like the reel was slowing down on me(this is a super smooth/good reel) got a brain poot and took one weight off and filed a bevel on the end,so that not as much area was rubbing on the race. took too much off the first one, did another one and took less off. it was perfect! took just enough drag off to make it work just right. can't believe i never thought of this before. anyone else customize their weights. will have to color code the weights to keep up with which one are what.
