look for the trees in the lake with the birds on them, my grandpa used to always fish there.
There are also some places under pendelton that there are some chrismas trees, i just dont know exactly where we have a camp at big bass so we dont fish the north part of the lake a whole lot and if we do, we just trailer up to 1215 and hunt and fish out there |

Fish at those big @$$ed duck blinds. They hold big bream and perch under them.
Them blinds are huge, and tall. Lots of branches and stuff under them for the fish to hide in and get in the shade under. |

i got a buddy who lives at cypress bend and guides out of there he has holes all around the island. if you are looking for a guide ill pm you with his info.
other wise we did pretty good in the negreet a while back and bogey ( don't know if that is spelled right) just find a creek that is pretty deep with structure. we through beetle spins till we found them. once you find one you are pretty well set. this was about 2 months ago. never been in the middle of the heat they may be in a different pattern. hope this helps |

also if you go on the north end of the island about 20 yards off of the bluff it is a metal pipe. sticking up tie to it and throw north with worms or krickets and you'll catch big bream till you are sick of it. thats were i bring my wife and kid. they love it.
