We fished around the same time you did and we had no luck just two small flounder. Guess maybe the high pressure today.

It was an impressive sight, W and 6 others lined up across a flat. I hope that was yalls pick up boat to the south else you may have to name your boat the SS Clown Car.

I took my little cousin from Denham Springs out to the bay yesterdayto try and get him on some fish but we didn't even get so much as a bite. I tried all the spots I know of that we usually catch some reds at but I guess they didn't want anything we had to offer.

I was out checking conditions at my other spots for next week. Thx to the story in the American Press last Thursday Joe's Cove now looks like Bourbon street on Mardi Gras. The little bite that was there is now gone, gone, gone. Its a swallow cove and it does not take much boat traffic to turn the fish off and out.

As low as the water is now, you might not be able to get a boat in there.
Water in Contraband Bayou looks 2 ft or more below normal.
