Default Acadiana Delta Waterfowl Banquet 10/20/11

We at the Acadiana Chapter of Delta Waterfowl would like to invite you to our 11th Annual Banquet to be held Thursday, October 20, 2011 at River Oaks located at 520 E. Kaliste Saloom Road in Lafayette. The doors open at 6:00pm, so you can enjoy social time before you sit down for a delicious meal and exciting live auction.

There will be various exciting raffles as well as a silent and live auction. You could go home with sporting art, hunting guns, knives, calls, pirogues, outdoor equipment, a black lab puppy, a “Hunt of a Lifetime” and much, much more. Please see attachments of a few items that will be available on the live auction.

Your ticket to the banquet is only $55 per person, $75 per couple or $450 for a reserved corporate table of eight. Ticket prices include your meal, drinks (including an open bar) and a one-year membership to Delta Waterfowl. A donation of $1,000 would make your business a VIP Table Sponsor. Each VIP table will receive a 30-quart K2 cooler (www.k2-coolers.com), preferred seating, the ability to hang your companies banner at the banquet, mentions in the program and throughout the night, as well as waitstaff to provide food and drinks throughout the meal and live auction.

This annual banquet helps DWF support waterfowl management on public, private and corporate lands and preserve waterfowl hunting as a traditional North American pursuit.

As many of you know, Delta Waterfowl Foundation was founded in 1911, and we are celebrating our 100th birthday this year. Since its inception in 1911, the Delta Waterfowl Foundation has strived to become North America’s leader in waterfowl ecology and waterfowl hunting. The core of Delta’s operation is its student research program, which was initiated in 1938. Delta students conduct high quality, independent research related to waterfowl and wetland ecology with the ultimate goal of maintaining a sustainable North American waterfowl population for the enjoyment of future generations. We hope that you’ll be able to join us on this our 100th hunting season since our humble beginning and celebrating our mission of providing another century of scientific knowledge to enhance waterfowl populations while securing the future of waterfowl hunting.

Yours in Conservation,
