Default Yak in a Truck

Thinking about getting myself a Yak. Have a ford f150 with the short bed. Is there any special way ya'll carry your yaks in your truck? Do you just strap them down on top of the tailgate with the tailgate up? Is there a "yak carrier" that works well for a pickup?
