Default Butterfly jigs??

I'm pretty new to offshore fishing, a friend is bringing me next week. I've heard a lot about using Butterfly Jigs for AJs. Anyone ever use these? What size and colors should I get? Help a newbie out.

these are shimano lucanus jigs theyre fairly new and they produce much better than ordinary butterfly jigs...they are amazing...u can find them at pugleas or any tackle shop...they are like rock candy...just make sure u buy extra rubber tails wen u get them and they'll last a while...

Regular old 4 oz. bucktail jigs work well for Amberjack.
White or Chartruese work good.
That's what we used when I worked on shallow water platforms.
They will attack anything that moves.
