get early morning and match bait with water---muddy (black/chart) clear (bone)--for trout and reds.

after sun comes up... opening night jerk jrs or sand eels for trout. Fish rocks with spinnerbaits/spoons for reds.

With this blustery south wind, you'd be crazy to waste your time down there.

Probably going out there a couple weekends from now. Do pretty good with fresh shrimp. Never tried artificials out there though. I see lots of people use spoons. What else you guys reccomend. Jordan, do you really use sand eels?

Topwater. But if the water is dirty, forget it. You might be able to catch some reds and gafftop in da mud with cut mullet and cracked crab.

Well even if the waters dirty Im still gonna go. Probably get there early, throw out a canaply, fire up the grill, and down a few cold ones while the poles are in the water. Fish, no fish, i'll have a good time.

I've never caught a single fish on the beach using a sand eel...I've always found that the fish would prefer some sort of swim bait.

I use DD's, Sand Eels, Jerk Jr.s, anything sparkling, opening night or glow.
Hit topwater first, then swap to soft plastic when topwater stops.

Wait for a North wind!!
Top water matched to water clarity (White with chartreuse head when clear and black with chartreuse head when murky) will smoke them from daybreak to about 8:15am.
