Not asking for any specific spots but do you have any coordinates where the fish were caught?

every now and then he'll post which soft plastic he used or a picture of fish with a top water bait in it's mouth, that's about the most info you'll get out of him lol

General question here but we fished all weekend mainly on a popping cork with live shrimp. I see most guys are having better reports with lil johns. Would I be correct in assuming that the fish are tending to be deeper right now?

I been catching all my fish in 4-6ft of water ... You normally don't need live shrimp this time of the year and fish are more active and bite more on reaction strikes .

Two weeks ago we had a slow bite so I got live shrimp for my guys and they did good on them but once the tide started moving good we didn't need shrimp

Thanks W That's exactly what i needed to know. We were fishing some of the usual haunts for fish and although we picked up a couple the bite was super slow. We did fish morning until noon both Saturday and Sunday and it sounds like the good bite was later.

Always nice to see some reports of success to be able to evaluate your slow weekend and improve.
