Default Camera question

Tryin to get my camera ready for the wedding this weekend. If I set the picture size to 6.1 MP, is that the best picture quality???? When it is set on 6.1, it tells me I can take over 800 pics. That doesn't seem right for a 1GB SD card. Someone help. The camera is a Kodak.

The higher quality you use, the fewer pictures you can take. Also, the higher the pixel, the better the picture.

She said most Kodak camera's with 6.1 megapixels can hold approx. 1500 pictures on a 2 gig card. So I would imagine u could put approx. 750 pics on a 1 gig card. hope that helps.
