Default Grand isle 5/30-6/1

Went for a weekend trip to grand isle. Didn't fish much Saturday. Sunday fished the morning in front the island at the rocks. Caught 13 really nice trout. Monday went to elmers island and found a few trout but when the tide stopped the fish stopped. Sunday afternoon with hit the rocks again on a strong falling tide. Slammed the trout and ended up with close to a limit and filled a 50 quart chest full of 18"+ trout. All fish caught on plastics and a few with live shrimp under a cork. Mainly used the live shrimp to locate the fish then threw plastic at them. Had multiple bouts with bad luck like locking keys in car and bait well malfunctions but all and all a great trip. If weather stays looking good should be back out this Sunday and Monday.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1433268145.275411.jpg

Brought my boat. Didn't have to get wet. Had some wade fishermen close by and tried to instruct them on where to throw to catch but I guess they had other ideas. Water was BEAUTIFUL. Nice pretty and green. 2 foot visibility. Perfect for trout fishing. I wish I could say live bait wasn't needed but if helped tremendously to find the fish
