Default Trolling motor repair

My trolling motor crapped out on me this morning. It seems to be something in the head. A switch or something the throttle just spins and feels clunky. Anybody recommend a repair shop close to Morgan City.

There is one in Houma but I can't remember the name I found it in the phone book one time. But that ain't really close to Morgan city. There is superior trolling motors in Lafayette they do good work but that ain't close either.

Thanks I don't mind driving a bit. Houma is closer than Lafayette.

I know New Orleans is a ways, but Foster Trolling Motors is top notch, no bull. They do exactly what they say they are going to do and get it done exactly when they say they will have it done. I have had very good experiences with them.

The switch plate might be bad in the head. Cost you less than 15.00 to fix. If you hav to tap on the head to make it go then it might be the diodes in the cone. Still not hard to fix yourself or expensive for parts.

Think I'm gonna open it up and have a look before I bring it anywhere. Thanks for the recommendations.
