New trucks-hard seats
Starting to shop around for a new pickup, and I am noticing with each passing model year, the seats have less and less cushion for comfort. Yesterday I sat in a Silverado LTZ, and the seat wasn't as comfortable as the ones in my 2006 Silverado. What the hell is going on with that? Does Ram or Ford or Toyota fall into the same thing? Just curious.

I know what you mean. I miss the old seats from the 80s. Its like driving in a Lazy Boy.

Yeah buddy! Now that's what I'm talking about! Go back to the '70's and they were even more comfortable.

Seats are thinner now to save weight. Increased fuel mileage.

The seats in my 2016 LTZ are very comfortable. I drive to Tennessee 2-3 time a year and never a problem.

It's Russian collusion, if they can throw an election, you better believe they tell GM how to make truck seats!
