Great Trout Bite DOWN DULARGE!

Boy what a great trip on Monday, Dec. 12 as the trout were eating up everything in sight! It was a pleasure to take out Kevin Ford and Joey Bordelon to show them what Terrebonne Parish has to offer. These guys catch plenty of fish from all around Louisiana but they left Terrebonne impressed at the quality and sheer numbers of trout caught in just a few short hours. My son Chris also joined us and it didn't take long to ice up 100 fat trout in the 2-4lb. range. Although the blueback and purple haze swimbaits were responsible for most of the action, Kevin caught a bunch of trout on some Mirr-o-lure soft plastics and under a cork as it warmed up later in the day. It didn't take much convincing for Joey to put down the camera and catch his share of fat yellowmouths! This should be a pretty awesome show when it hits the airwaves! Good luck fishing.
